MANDARIN or ARABIC SPEAKING QUEUE HOSTS HEATHROWMUST HAVE LIVED IN THE UK FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARSStart Date: 1st May 2017In this busy, fast paced environment you will provide outstanding customer service, helping to manage queues while acting as a point of information for passengers. We operate a VAT refund service on behalf of HMRC at Heathrow airport. We process these refunds for non-EU residents who have purchased goods in the UK and are travelling back to their home country. Queue Hosts will assist passengers whilst they are queuing for their VAT refunds and help them complete their VAT forms.To succeed as a Queue host, you must be:• Able to comfortably deal with challenging customers• Able to complete detailed work accurately and at a fast, efficient pace• A Team Player• Able to work well under pressure• Able to clearly follow audit, compliance and security procedure• Presentable and "dressed for success"• Able to clearly follow audit, compliance and security procedures• Presentable and "dressed for success"• Flexible in working different shift patterns which consist of both earlies, middles and evenings (depending on business requirements)We are looking for candidates who have:• Excellent sales or customer service experience• Excellent verbal and written English• Able to converse in MANDARIN/ARABIC• Experience working within a foreign exchange, travel agency or banking environment (desirable)• Confidence in interacting with customers and team members• Cash handling experience• Excellent attention to details• IT skills and able to use Microsoft applications• Good numerical abilities• Flexibility in working shiftsSuccessful candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable history, plus pass credit and criminal record checks.
