Full-Time Cashier / Shop-Floor Assistant

We are looking for a FULL-TIME SHOP-FLOOR ASSISTANT/CASHIER who is committed to delivering great customer service to work in our Cash & Carry supplying oriental foods in Norwich. Candidates must have good manners and pleasant working attitude to succeed.

Experience is preferred although not essential. Candidates must have good communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.

Job summary / Duties / Responsibilities

• Restocking shelves / Replenish stock / Stock rotation and adhere to stock control procedures

• Serving customers at till or answering to enquiries regarding products etc. (i.e. sales assisting).

• Possible cash handling

• Packaging goods, e.g. vegetables, nuts and seeds

• Ensuring the shop-floor is clean and tidy

• Requirements

• Bilingual in Chinese (either Cantonese or Mandarin) and English

• Good communication / interpersonal skill

• Hard Working / Responsible, with a "can do" attitude

• Comply with all aspects of Company's policies and procedures

• Attention to detail

• Customer-focused

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in oriental food supplies

• Familiar with oriental foods including dry and frozen goods

• Good computer literacy

• High level of numeracy

Salary: Negotiable
