We are a progressive Cross-Boarder E-commerce Company and require a full time Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily workflow of our warehouse.

The position will suit a capable all-rounder with strong operations experience, great organisational skills and a hard working attitude.

Job responsibilities

• Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these

• Liaise externally with customers, suppliers and transport companies

• Liaise internally with other departments within the company

• Receive incoming deliveries, highlight any discrepancies, and store products to warehouse

• Management of daily order work flow. Order picking, packing and dispatch

• Closely monitor stock levels and place orders daily with suppliers

• Plan rotas and future capacity requirements

• Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment

• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspects equipment, issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

• Conduct data collection and analysis, produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and  monthly basis

• Ensure there is a sufficient staffing level to manage the work flow in the warehouse

• Recruit, train staff, monitor staff performance and progress

Job requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a warehouse manager

• Commercial business experience, ideally in an e-commerce environment

• The ability to work with other department heads to assess the needs of the company from a financial (cost saving) perspective

• Management / Team Leading experience

• Hands-on attitude, getting involved and picking / packing orders

• Communicator and team player who likes to build relationships

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Good planning and organising skills

• Logical thinking and reasoning

• Forward thinking with the ability to 'think on your feet'

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level

• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Visio) experience preferred

• The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines

• The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team of people

• Strong interest in logistics and supply chain management

• Experience overseeing budgets will be highly beneficial

• Experience working with a large number of SKUs is highly beneficial
