Job Summary
Location: Camden Town, London NW1
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm (half an hour lunch break)
Salary: £18,000 to £23,000 depending on experience
We are seeking a highly committed and motivated administrator to work in our products purchasing department to provide support in liaising with our suppliers and manufacturers mainly based in China. This post requires the ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. It will involve a variety of skills. You need to have sound organisational skills, an ability to manage a varied workload, responsive and have a flexible attitude. A good working knowledge of Word and Excel, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and organisations, and the willingness to support other team members is essential.
It is an office based position, full time. The ideal candidate needs to be bi-lingual in both Mandarin and English, experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not mandatory. You need to be a self-starter, reliable, honest, an excellent team player, can work under pressure and multi task. Initial training will be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties
- research on products markets
- products sourcing
- define potential suppliers or manufacturers and make recommendations to the manager
- negotiate products price
- liaise from beginning to end between suppliers and manager
- placing orders and re-ordering
- follow up with the manufacturing process
- liaison with logistic companies for shipping arrangement and other relevant responsibilities
