Contract Type: Full-time Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9.00am - 5.30pm)

Salary: Competitive


Job description

In accordance with the company’s targets for the promotion of Chinese culture and education and related student services projects, you would be expected to formulate strategies to open up markets, implement plans and expand business through the establishment, development and maintenance of relationships with partners, customers and different marketing channels, as well as accomplishing various business tasks. 

 

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for promotional work, training and consultancy relating to Chinese culture and company targets.

2. Responsible for market research and surveys and the development of market channels with higher learning institutions; establishing a good relationship with distributors or channel-related   partners.

3. Responsible for the company’s promotional events at colleges and universities.

4. Responsible for devising and implementing various kinds of marketing plans organisational strategies.

5. Responsible for student recruitment, business inquiries and the signing of contracts; heading the business team in relation each recruitment task.

6. Observing the standard operational procedures for the handling of various statements, plans, budgets and action plans.

7. Ensuring that the supervision of customer services enhances customer satisfaction in line with the ethos of the company.

 

Managerial Responsibilities

1. Responsible to the Director and abiding by strategic objectives in order to regulate business and managerial conduct.

2. Within the business scope, working on the development of domestic and overseas market  channels; improving student recruitment at colleges and universities; overall management of relevant business.

3. Responsible for recruiting office clerks, training them and giving them evaluations; dealing  with customer complaints in a prompt manner; ensuring customer satisfaction; maintaining the brand and reputation of the company.

4. Analysing business on a monthly basis in order to make plans and strategies to expand future student recruitment.

5. Regularly reporting on business operations to the Director and offering suggestions for  improvement.

 

Qualifications and educational background

  1. Holder of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, with marketing or relevant       educational background being a plus.

  2. Fluent in English.

 

Experience

  1. Received training on educational establishments and capable of receiving visitors from colleges and universities.

  2. Two-year plus working experience in opening up and building of channels at higher learning institutions, as well as in managing them

  3. Working experience in international contexts is preferred

  4. Experience in project management would also be an asset

  5. Skills and abilities

  6. Three-years or more studying and living experience in Britain, with a clean driving license.

  7. Good communication skills and adept at expressing ideas

  8. Very efficient at organising activities centering around the recruitment of students

  9. Able to develop marketing channels and to organise and coordinate events


Personal qualities

  1. Proactive and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of responsibility

  2. Efficient and quick to act, with good leadership skills

  3. Innovative and a strong ability to make plans and implement them
