Job Title:  Channel Development Manager

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Manchester Head Office

Salary:  £19,000-23,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a competitive bonus

Annual Holiday: 22 days plus 8 public holidays

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Assisting the Operations Manager and Sales Manager to achieve sales and enrolment targets through the development of recruitment channels and sales strategies & plans.

The key tasks include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the development of sales strategies and plans

  Researching competitors’ strategies and practice, and ensuring ours to be competitive in the market

  Collecting the latest news and trends from the industry and feeding back to line manager promptly

• Planning, organizing and reviewing marketing activities/events within budgets to help achieve sales and enrolment targets, which can include but are not limited to:

  Online Lecture & Interview

  Job Fair

  CSSA Events

  Student Welcome Party/Event

  Joint Promotion Events with partners

   

• Developing and maintaining sales channels

  Developing new business partners, CSSA, or other organizations for potential sales and promotional opportunities

  Maintaining current business partners, CSSA, or other organizations continuously to build up long-term good relationship

  Developing and maintaining sales channels through online resources or social media platforms

• Proactively collecting the constant changes of customer demands on our service/product, communication methods, etc. to ensure we can continuously improve our services and products.
  

• Keeping effective communication and maintaining superb team work with all departments
  

• Any other ad hoc responsibilities designated by line manager
  

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:

• Have a university degree in any discipline.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.

• Have strong direct marketing skills and excellent communication skills.

• Be responsible, mature, reliable, and honest.

• Be a committed team player but also dependable enough to work individually with minimum supervision.

• Be well organized and able to meet targets and deadlines under pressure.

• Be able to demonstrate initiative to develop and improve daily work.

• Previous experiences in channel development, marketing or events planning are required.

• The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work full-time in the UK.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences:

Experience in overseas student recruitment would be highly desired.

Marketing/event management degree or professional qualifications are preferred.
