We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator role for a Logistics & Supply Chain company based in Northampton. Our client is growing rapidly, with existing warehouses in the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, and China. They are searching for additional members to join their team as they grow.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an HR Assistant or in a related human resources/administrative role is required.

  • Basic knowledge of labor skills is required.

  • A degree in human resources is preferred but not required.

  • To manage workload, you must be able to operate well under pressure and prioritize duties.

  • Ability to work both autonomously and as working in a team.

  • Excellent IT abilities, including proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Industry/eCommerce experience - Prior experience in logistics is preferred but not required.

  • Mandarin fluency is desired but not required.


Personal characteristics/skills:

  • Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.

  • Compassionate individual.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to connect completely with all company members.

  • Positivity and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of HR activities and obligations.

  • Compile and keep employee records up to date (hard and soft copies).

  • Documentation and reports on personnel operations are processed and prepared (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc).

  • Handle employee inquiries about human resources issues, policies, and regulations.

  • When necessary, communicate with public services.

  • Handle employee well-being issues, such as complaints and grievance procedures.

  • Assist in the recruitment process and provide initial orientation to newly hired employees.

  • Communicating with third parties, such as the Business Specialist Consultancy, to ensure that all HR resources are available and suitable for business use.

  • HR projects must be coordinated (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes.
