We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Engagement Executive for a real estate business in Alderley Edge. Our client offers student housing.


They are looking for experienced, but most importantly, passionate individuals to help them achieve their goals. Customer service skills are needed for success, but you must also be passionate about providing an outstanding journey to your customers. You will actively look for ways to increase rental revenue, which will improve their students' journey. A hands-on approach, as well as effective communication skills and the ability to constantly improve, are essential for success in this position.


As a member of an ever-evolving and expanding team, you will be the first line of interaction and support for the customers who've just boarded for the following academic year, ensuring that everyone has an outstanding journey.

Role requirements

  • GCSE or higher level of education

  • Experience in a Customer Experience role is preferred, as is some sales experience. Ability to think critically and deal with online operating systems and payments.

  • You'll have good oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to convey information in a simple and concise manner, especially to people from other cultures. You must be empathetic and create trust while maintaining a firm line when required to meet company goals. You'll be able to collaborate together with other departments to achieve the company's mutual objectives.

  • You'll need to pay close attention to detail, be coordinated and methodical in your strategy, and be adaptable when dealing with potential or existing customers. Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to handle the workload on your own during peak hours.

  • Reliable and capable of maintaining a professional demeanor while demonstrating a solid integrity ethic.

  • It would be advantageous if you were fluent in Mandarin.

 

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • You will provide outstanding service to new students by working closely with sales teams.

  • Supporting customers and attending to regular email and phone inquiries about their contracts, payments, and reservations in general

  • Managing and modifying customer reservations using the company's online booking system

  • Continually looking for ways to improve our customers' experience

  • Opportunities for achieving efficiencies in the Customer Journey are being creatively developed

  • Increase revenue by promoting additional offers and services.

  • Assuring that all students who pay their rent in advance have a seamless payment process and experience.

  • To bring dedication and enthusiasm to the job in order to ensure positive student interactions and encourage referrals.
