We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer role with a Telecom company in London. Our client is a technology company that is motivated by a desire to produce the ultimate products possible, with advanced interfaces and smart technology at its heart. This role will begin with a 3 months internship. After completing your three-month internship successfully, you may be offered a permanent full-time position. We will provide you with training.

Requirements and successful candidate:

• Degree in MSc/BSc in electronics, software, or industrial engineering is preferred

• Prior experience working in the mobile industry is desired.

• QA Processes, STLC, and SDLC knowledge and understanding

• Have a thorough understanding of the cloud/web platform

• In-depth knowledge of the Android platform and SDK

• Create a Test Plan, Test Specification, and Test Cases document for a product or a feature of a product.

• A can-do attitude and a strong and optimistic work ethic

• Able to go on business trips and work in an open environment when necessary

• Native English and Mandarin speakers, or at least business fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin, are needed due to the nature of business.

Core Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Field test plan execution

• Text information collection

• Handle complains

• Overseas sector localization management

• Control of network problems and solutions with developers and operators

• Exchange of knowledge and experience

Working hours: 35 hours
