Our client is one of the UK's leading East Asian food retailers. Experience in food retail is necessary for the role. As a Deputy Manager you'll help with the organizational objectives of the store. Successful candidates will have strong people skills as well as retail experience with excellent communication/leadership skills.

Skill Requirements :

• Must speak and write fluent Chinese - Mandarin or Cantonese.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Able to plan and execute tasks.

• Good competencies in teamwork and time management.

• Must have the lawful right to work (without sponsorship) in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the store.

• Assist the management of 30 to 40 staff.

• Ensuring stock is managed as in line with the daily sales’ needs.

• Assist in carrying out financial control and budgeting.

• Overseeing the training for new starters in aid of ensuring a high standard of customer service.

• Carrying out Health & Safety risk assessment on a regular basis.

• Developing local customer knowledge and competitor awareness.

• Supporting fellow colleagues in all aspects when required.
