Established in 2005, SOMLE Audio-visual Technology CO.，LTD is an integrated enterprise group with design, manufacture and sale of TV stands as the core business.  Our headquarter is in China while our branch office is located in the UK.SOMLE is a dynamic retail company undergoing a huge growth phase in their online business, making major inroads into the European online furniture + homeware sector.SOMLE is seeking an experienced warehouse operations manager to lead our storage and logistics department. The successful candidates will join our growing warehouse team. The Warehouse  operations manager oversees all aspects of inventory management and distribution including coordination of our transport network,  inventory control and general operation.This role presents a unique opportunity for an accomplished warehouse  operations manager to join an established, sector-leading, organization and contribute to the development of systems and processes to underpin a significant period of growth and operational refinement. Reporting to Logistics Manager (Europe), your responsibilities will include:· Overseeing the receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods· Operating the warehouse by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals· Lead, develop and execute the company’s supply chain strategy · Solving day-to-day operational issues; planning and organising the arrangement of goods within the warehouse· Managing warehouse team members to ensure high levels of productivity· Achievement of KPI's including sales and profit· Adhering to business policies and procedures, including safe work practices and chain of responsibility directives· Managing end to end logistics, communicating with drivers, import and to ensure efficient delivery of products · Following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulation· Meeting legal and profitability requirements while delivering efficiency, improved productivity, and cost reduction· Overhauling existing operations processes with focus on speed, efficiency and resource use· Maintaining a safe warehouse environment· Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles; Picking and packing customer orders· Verify inventory computations by comparing physical counts of stock to ERP system, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.  Skills and Experience:We are seeking pro-active individuals, who are looking to take on this exciting opportunity. The successful applicant will have the following skills: · Previous experience and leadership in a warehouse receiving, dispatching function (not 3PL) (3+ years)· Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy· Previous warehouse management experience · Previous experience in managing teams, coaching and providing feedback· Sound communication, organisational and dispatching skills· High level prioritisation, organisational and time management skills· Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Mandarin· Strong analytical ability and effective decision-making ability· Understanding of general warehouse WHS safety policies and procedures· Intermediate computer skills (MS Office) and ERP system· Problem solving oriented· Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast changing environment· Reliable, committed and trustworthy· Minimum two years recent forklift/stores experience with referees highly desirable    Licenses required:· Valid Forklift licence (LF)· Current & valid drivers licence. Licence checks conducted prior to employment· Reliable transport  Every employee who would like to work in the UK requires a residence title and a work permit.  Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in the job Wen JiangOverseas Warehouse Manageremail: wen.jiang@somle.comwww.somle.com
