We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountants Assistant job with a London-based logistics and supply chain business. Our client provides international trade customs clearance services from all other UK locations. hey also offer FBA fulfillment, logistics services, and product sourcing to consumers in the United Kingdom, EU, and China.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of finance systems, such as SAP or Sage, would be advantageous but not necessary.

• A professional General Ledger.

• Capability to prioritize tasks.

• Excel skills will be advantageous.

• Prioritize work effectively in order to reach deadlines.

• When speaking with people on the phone or in person, you should be confident at all levels.

• Approach to work/training/working hours that is adaptable and methodical

• Consistent and dependable.

• Excellent communication skills are required in order to provide accurate information.

• Under pressure, the ability to function efficiently and accurately is needed.

• Capability to serve as part of a team or on your own.

• Professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness are all hallmarks of this person.

• Proactive and capable of making decisions

Responsibilities:

• A professional General Ledger Accountant will be in charge of processing day-to-day bookkeeping duties.

• Account reconciliations are prepared on a weekly basis.

• General Ledger management for all Freight contracts, including end-of-month closing out

• Ensure that materials are processed and paid in a timely and correct manner.
