Logistics & Warehouse Manager: Full Time, £40,000.00 gross per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day warehouse management, with a focus on      staffing and duties, resource planning, and employee relationships;

• Staff training and development;

• Manage relationships with external contractors for      aspects of facilities management;

• Work closely with other departments to improve      functions, such as Transport, HR, Inventory Management, Sales, and Retail;

• Assist in the implementation and maintain the operational      use of a new WMS within the warehouse operations;

• Be responsible for Health and Safety matters within the      warehouse;

• Develop warehouse and distribution strategies that      support the medium and long-term strategy using the ERP system;

• Gather and analyse internal and external information to      develop a distribution strategy that considers customers' current and      future requirements in the UK and Europe, and company growth plans;

• Develop models and conduct analyses to identify service      and cost improvements;

• Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while      effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and      external stakeholders;

• Perform other special assignments and duties as may be      required.

Person Specification

• Strong working knowledge of WMS, Excel, and Word is      required;

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;

• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment      that is full of ambiguity;

• Excellent man-management, communication and listening      skills, culturally sensitive to the different nationalities who work      within the business;

• Can do, will do approach to solving problems that      arise.
