Media Relations Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Relations Executive role in a Media Production house based in Borehamwood. The company is a global audience-focused content production and distribution agency that partners with several of the world's most well-known brands, media, and entertainment studios. The media company is searching for an enthusiastic Media Relations Executive to help the PR team across a variety of high-profile clientele in industries such as lifestyle, automotive, technology, and corporate.

Job Requirements:

• Passionate about public relations, networking, media statement, and garnering publicity for clients.

• Degree-level education (ideally in public relations, journalism, media, or English).

• Outstanding written and spoken English.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Interested in current events and news.

• Team players that take the initiative to achieve success for their clientele.

• Good communication and organizational abilities.

• Prior professional experience at a public relations firm specializing in media relations.

• A solid grasp of what makes an excellent story, as well as some amount of expertise in own story-telling, is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all media sell-ins and promotion for clientele, both across the UK and globally, through aggressive calls and email contact.

• Develop excellent ties with media connections across the UK and worldwide.

• Assist the team with administrative responsibilities such as collecting meeting minutes and agendas, developing media target lists, upgrading media relations databases, and tracking and generating coverage reports.

• Prepare press announcements, media advisories, project reports, and client briefings.

• Keep updating coverage findings and media articles on the Global Media Centre (GMC).

• Monitor and remain up to date on essential PR and worldwide media business news.

• Provide consistent strong support for all project work, which is frequently fast-paced, diversified, and hard.
