Technical Admin Support

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Admin Support role in a Birmingham-based Design Services company. The company is one of the UK's top suppliers of customized, mass-production houseware and furnishings to both major and small stores. It is currently seeking to hire a Chinese speaker to assist in the routine operation and reporting activities.

Job Requirements:

• Excel, Word, and Access skills are required.

• Experience with flatpack construction is advantageous but not required.

• Preference for Chinese speaking, reading, and writing.

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of multitasking with great organization and time management abilities are required.

• The ability to make autonomous judgments about the best method to handle individual tasks and inquiries for routine operation is required.

• Team player who is proactive, performance-driven.

• Excellent reporting abilities.

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent computer skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the collection of data from industries (packaging & waste).

• Update the intervention plan and communicate it to the factories through email.

• Assist and back up the Quality & Technical Manager.

• Assist and support customers in completing new product forms.

• Post data to client portals.

• Record data in the database/ERP.

• Generate product specifications using example reports.

• Facilitate inspection requests details from third-party inspection teams.

• Ensure that P&W data is retained and updated.

• Fill out client P&W forms as needed.

• Support with the approval process for FSC artwork.

• Maintain internal and external connections with important partners to acquire product knowledge in a time-sensitive setting.

• When necessary, coordinate with additional Department workers on duties to support projects.
