Market Research Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manchester-based Business Consulting and Services company. Through research and strategy initiatives, the business assists in the creation of enticing consumer experiences for some of the most prominent brands. It is searching for a smart, motivated individual with a passion for brands and research, whose major responsibility will be to assist with research project design, logistics, analytics, and write-ups.

Job Requirements:

• Brand-obsessed, research-oriented, and business-savvy.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Capable of juggling many projects at once and excelling at prioritization.

• Have a keen sense of detail.

• Excellent command of the English language.

• Ideally based in Manchester.

• Excellent in logistics, particularly arranging research, meetings, and travel.

• Possess the ability to encourage yourself and others.

• Possess an analytical mentality.

• Able to work independently and be adaptable in terms of the function you'll conduct in a team.

• Confident with technology and software, including an above-average understanding of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as computer savvy enough to work with various internet platforms.

• Self-assured in working with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.

• Inquisitive, informed of current events, and eager to new experiences and information.

• Have prior experience working in an office setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assuring that all aspects of a research study operate smoothly.

• Being proactive and anticipating tasks, from scheduling meeting venues for debriefs to preparing overseas research initiatives.

• Organize and assist us in recruiting (finding) the appropriate persons to engage with our research. This will entail communicating with recruitment partners about the details of the person we are searching for.

• Observe research in action by typing up research records and assisting with analysis by recognizing key facts.

• Participate in the analysis sessions by collecting crucial ideas and assisting in the formation of the tale.

• Participate in the analysis of questionnaire data, the creation of charts and graphs, and the creation of a story for the customer.

• Conducting desk research on sectors and companies to give background knowledge for initiatives and proposals.

• Making stimuli for workshops and target groups, writing up consolidations, and creating stunning PowerPoint presentations.

• Provide ad hoc office support as needed, such as taking minutes, copying, laminating, collating, printing, and producing stimulus packets for workshops.
