Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager role in a Nottingham-based rapidly growing international Transportation, Logistics and Storage company. It is seeking an experienced person to fill this role. The Account Manager will help with day-to-day operations and contribute to the business growth.

Job Requirements:

• Work exposure in logistics/supply chain for at least 1 year.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or Logistics is preferred.

• Experience motivating and persuading operational teams.

• Excellent organisational abilities and adaptability.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Mandarin fluency.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to persuade others.

• Ability to solve problems quantitatively and qualitatively.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Knowledge of IT and systems.

• Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
   

Job Responsibilities:

• Build new and existing client relationships.

• Verify that the shipping documentation is complete and in the correct order.

• Communicate with shipping lines, international agencies, and other forwarding companies.

• Initiate payments to the shippers.

• Raise invoice.

• Contribute to the creation of business strategies and determine the appropriate input metrics that drive growth and enhance the end-customer experience.
