We have an exciting opportunity for a Bookings Advisor role in a Hospitality firm based in London. The company is a non-profit organisation that provides one of the best and most economical lodging options in the Capital. The primary goal of this position is to represent the firm positively to all internal and external customers via outbound and inbound phone, mail, and web chat while providing great customer service at all times. This is a 9-month FTC position.

Job Requirements:

• Work experience in the hospitality business (reservations/customer service) of at least 1-2 years is required.

• A-Levels or similar qualification (preferred).

• Adaptability to work between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

• It is necessary to be able to multitask.

• Excellent in establishing and maintaining positive and productive working connections across the organisation, as well as effectively communicating in a variety of scenarios.

• Working experience in a fast-paced setting is a plus.

• Good communication and telephonic skills.

• Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.

• It would be advantageous to have some experience with ASSD or another reservation system.

• IT literate with Excel and Outlook experience.

• Positive and upbeat, with a positive outlook.

• It is advantageous to be fluent in Mandarin.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage routine guest inquiries and reservation requests through a dedicated reservations email address and phone number to provide a consistent service while securing as many long-term reservations as possible.

• Always promote hostels, propose alternatives, and upsell at every chance, whether through phone, email, or webchat.

• Maintain a professional, respectful, and friendly demeanour when communicating with visitors.

• Listen attentively to all customer inquiries and then react precisely, detailing the right product/service or carrying out the agreed-upon action.

• Always acquire accurate consumer data and enter it into databases.

• Respond to clients with appropriate options to ensure that they receive prompt attention and personalised solutions to their inquiries.

• Ascertain that customers are fully informed about our products and services.

• Maintain a high level of product expertise at all times and take advantage of any chance to cross-sell in a timely and professional manner.

• Respond to visitor questions and take bookings via the company's 'Live Chat' option.

• Know the company's booking policies inside and out.
