Job description 

As a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest multinational ecommerce and logistics organizations, we are a tech-first eCommerce fulfilment and logistics solutions specialist that connects retailers, manufacturers, shipping companies, and couriers to provide end-to-end logistic solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager in fulfilment or logistics industry to join our journey in the UK market and assist in building out the Sales Function and establish the commercial success of our business.

The Individual 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, securing key partnerships and retaining and strengthening our existing business. This role, working closely as part of a high performing team will play a significant role in the success of the company as we strive to achieve our business goals. 

Ideally, you’ll have at least 5 years’ experience coming from a background in fulfilment and logistics. You’ll be motivated, results-driven, and have a proven track record in relevant roles in order to join our impressive team.

Day to day, you’ll be responsible for generating leads, promoting our business, playing a key role in securing new contracts and onboarding new customers. 

About you

·         You are a highly motivated self-starter with sound knowledge in logistics.

·         You have enterprise sales experience with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

·         You have good commercial acumen and perceptiveness about opportunities and negotiation.

·         You are passionate about eCommerce and interested in innovative technology.

Essential Criteria

·         Minimum of 5-year sales experience in ecommerce fulfilment or 3PL background.

·         Computer literacy is a must

·         Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese

·         Based in the UK and willing to travel domestically
