Warehouse Assistant/Operator.

1. Ensure the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of goods from the warehouse.

2. Their duties include receiving goods, checking goods for damage or loss, and storing warehouse goods in an organised manner. A forklift licence is required.

3. Ensure that all goods being loaded or unloaded are in accordance with the relevant paperwork

4. Take responsibility for the company's shipments and assets and report any suspicious activity at work

5. Report any damaged or missing goods to the warehouse manager or supervisor

6. Store and rotate stock in accordance with established procedures

7. Keep the workplace clean and tidy and maintain equipment

8. Comply with workplace health and safety rules when handling goods

9. Follow operational procedures, rules and schedules to ensure efficient operation

10. Assist in warehouse stock control, which usually includes the use of hand-held scanners

11. Treat merchandise with care and attention at all times

Delivery Driver: 

Candidates must have a legal driving licence to drive in the UK and have experience of driving manual vans. Our current vehicles are 3 tonne manual vans and 7.5 tonne trucks. Previous experience of working in a warehouse is a definite but not essential.

1. Be aware of the journey, including reasonable delivery routes, and take into account any timed drops or other irregularities.

2. To check vehicles in accordance with the driver's daily checklist and take necessary steps prior to departure.

3. Load goods/products according to customer orders and ensure that pallets are securely wrapped for delivery.

4. Maintain regular communication with the office.

5. Review the delivery with the consignee to ensure it is accurate

6. Unloads goods safely and efficiently at the customer's premises, always in a considerate and courteous manner taking into account the care and concern for the public at all times.

7. Obtain confirmation of delivery from the customer

8. Report all paperwork and payment receipts to the office at the end of each day.

9. Comply with traffic laws and schedule work hours and driving breaks as required.

10. Understand and follow the company's vehicle breakdown procedures.

11. Remove all personal belongings and rubbish (cans/bottles etc.) from the vehicle's cabin on return.

12. Ensure that the vehicle is fully fuelled on return.

13. Keep management informed of all vehicle defects and repair requirements as soon as possible through the driver's daily checklist.

14. Help to keep our delivery fleet clean and in good working order at all times.

15. Assist in the warehouse when required.

Sales Manager:

Mandarine and English speaking sales

Computing simple Chinese typing

Placing orders with customers

Managing customers, maintain old customers and develop new ones.

Within the company's service area, visiting new customers to understand their business and their needs, providing feedback to the company and establishing a cooperative relationship.

For established customers, following their orders on a weekly and monthly basis to familiarise ourselves with their needs and to increase their orders to us.
