Job title: Head ChefAnnual Salary: 30,000  poundsWork hours:          45  hours     per weekJob description:·         ·        Purchases and examines foods from supplier to ensure quality;·        Oversees food preparation and monitors the quality of finished dishes;·        Plans menus, prepares, seasons and cooks foods; Makes sauce and monitors the quality;·        Manages orders and monitors its speed and Supervises, organises and trains kitchen staff and manages an area of the kitchen;·        Ensures relevant hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained within the kitchen;·        Plans and co-ordinates kitchen work such as fetching, clearing and cleaning of equipment. The skill, experience and qualifications required for post:·        Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred·        Solid understanding of Chinese culture and food·        Minimum experience of 2 years in a Chinese restaurant·        Excellent organisation, communication and negotiation skills with attention to details·        People management skills·        Professional, articulate, self-motivated, ability to multi-task
