Senior Barista/ Store Manager

As a Senior Barista/ Manager you will be passionate about providing the highest standard of speciality coffee & customer service. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, reaching sales targets, and ensuring every customer leaves happy. 

Responsibilities 

• Greet customers as they enter. 

• Utilize your coffee expertise to brew the perfect cup, adjusting equipment settings as needed. 

• Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients. 

• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g., preferences of coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios) 

• Plan and execute promotional strategies. 

• Liaising with the management, Head roaster and staff to ensure consistently high standards of beverages. 

• You should be skilled in dialling in coffee, pulling shots, steaming milk, and creating intricate latte art. 

• Demonstrates efficiency, independence, and proactiveness. 

• Prepare beverages following the recipes. 

• Ensuring staff are trained to company standards. 

• Placing orders & stock management via email and apps 

• Organising rotas and ensuring KPIs are in line. 

• Organise new product launches & events. 

• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) 

• Keep the cafe area clean. 

• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs. 

• Comply with health and safety regulations. 

• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items. 

Requirements and skills 

• Previous work experience as a Barista 

• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment 

• Knowledge of sanitation regulations 

• Flexibility to work various shifts (6 days working). 

• Basic math skills 

• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences. 

• Excellent communication skills

Pay 

• £14 - £16 per hour based on experience
