Kitchen assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality Thai food. Your duties will include but are not limited to food preparation, cleaning, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring that kitchen equipment is well-maintained. You will be working under the supervision of the head chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and cooking of various Thai dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.

Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring all work areas are sanitized regularly.

Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and well-maintained.

Stocking and organizing kitchen ingredients, ensuring inventory is properly managed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred, especially in an Asian or Thai kitchen, but not essential.

Passion for Thai cuisine and a willingness to learn and develop cooking skills.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
